Founded in 1986, the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is a national leader in child abuse prevention, providing a safe haven for children and critical support for families in crisis due to illness, homelessness, domestic violence, or overwhelming parental stress. Our services include a 24-hour helpline, short-term respite care for children (birth to age 12), counseling, and individualized family support as families move from crisis to stability.
