Continue Connecting

For the past several years, The Uplift Connection, powered by Missouri Foundation for Health, has worked to strengthen connections across Missouri's maternal and infant health community — helping people and organizations find one another, share information and resources, learn from work happening across the state, and create greater visibility for efforts to improve the health and well-being of women, infants and families. While The Uplift Connection has concluded active programming, the connections and resources developed through this work remain.

The Uplift Connection's Convening has been an important part of that work, bringing together community organizations, health care providers, public health professionals and others working toward similar goals to share ideas and learning, build relationships, and increase awareness of efforts underway across Missouri. We are grateful to the Missouri Perinatal Quality Collaborative, in partnership with the Missouri Hospital Association, for participation in presenting the convening in recent years and supporting its continued reach across the state.

Those connections matter. Over the years, relationships have grown, knowledge has been shared, and new opportunities for collaboration have emerged. We are grateful to everyone who has participated, contributed their expertise and experiences, and helped build a stronger and more connected maternal and infant health community in Missouri.

As this work continues to evolve, there will not be a Maternal and Infant Health Convening in 2027. This change does not signal an end to the work or to Missouri Foundation for Health's (MFH) commitment to maternal and infant health. However, MFH is entering a new chapter, and how the organization identifies issues and partners with communities is changing.  The relationships and knowledge built through this effort will help inform how the Foundation may support this type of work going forward. You can join the mailing list to stay updated.

Missouri continues to face significant maternal and infant health challenges, making the relationships, knowledge and capacity that exist across the state as important as ever. We hope everyone who has been part of The Uplift Connection will continue connecting, sharing, and building on the work already underway.

The Uplift Connection website will remain available as a resource for information, tools, and connections developed through this work. We invite you to continue using these resources and building on the relationships that have grown through The Uplift Connection and the Maternal and Infant Health Convening.

We also encourage you to stay engaged with the Missouri Perinatal Quality Collaborative for future opportunities to connect, collaborate and advance maternal and infant health across Missouri.

Thank you for everything you have contributed — and for everything still ahead.
