On January 5, 2026, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its U.S. childhood immunization recommendations, organizing the guidance into three categories: vaccines recommended for all children, vaccines recommended for high-risk groups or populations, and vaccines administered based on shared clinical decision-making.
