The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has released the 2018–2022 Maternal Mortality Annual Report on behalf of the state’s Pregnancy-Associated Mortality Review (PAMR) Board. This report reflects five years of work by a multidisciplinary team examining the causes of maternal deaths in Missouri and offers recommendations to help prevent future tragedies.
