Missouri’s mothers and infants are still dying at rates above the national average, according to a new March of Dimes report. The organization’s annual Missouri “report card,” released Nov. 17, once again places the state in the lower half of the nation for infant mortality, maternal mortality, preterm births, and severe maternal health complications.
